Our Environment

Stafford Academy boasts spacious air-conditioned classrooms and only takes 25 to 30 learners in each class therefore affording more individual attention to each learner.

The school offers classes from Grade R to Grade 7. As regulated by The Department of Education, our syllabus incorporated is the CAPS Education System (CURRICULUM ASSESSMENT POLICY STATEMENTS) which is designed to develop all our children holistically.

Dress up and an art activity. Each class does a poem, song or/and dance.

Our School

Established in 1994

Our school was founded by Mrs E. Stafford in 1994 and is formerly known as Twinkle Star Primary School. Initially, the first multiracial crèche established in central Pietermaritzburg, it has grown into a thriving primary school meeting the needs of our community.

We advance English as the Official Language and school instruction medium. We endeavour to empower our learners holistically through sport and a nurturing environment.

Extracurricular Activities

Each term has different sporting activities on offer. Winter sports include netball and soccer. Needlework and sewing, gardening and landscaping are on offer throughout the year.
