Stafford Academy boasts spacious air-conditioned classrooms and only takes 25 to 30 learners in each class therefore affording more individual attention to each learner.

Grade 7 Market Day
This forms part of their Economics Management Science (EMS) Project.
Dress up and an art activity. Each class does a poem, song or/and dance.
Learners are encouraged to dress up in their respective cultural attire.
End of term 3. One week’s holiday.
Beginning of term 4.
Learners are allowed to wear their casual clothing.

Our school was founded by Mrs E. Stafford in 1994 and is formerly known as Twinkle Star Primary School. Initially, the first multiracial crèche established in central Pietermaritzburg, it has grown into a thriving primary school meeting the needs of our community.

We advance English as the Official Language and school instruction medium. We endeavour to empower our learners holistically through sport and a nurturing environment.

Each term has different sporting activities on offer. Winter sports include netball and soccer. Needlework and sewing, gardening and landscaping are on offer throughout the year.
